passed on in a German hospital where he had gone for treatment of an
undisclosed illness.
Emir Kitoro is said to be one of the most influential monarchs in Niger State

President Muhammadu Buhari arrives Nigeria after a 4- days official visit to India

President Muhammadu Buhari has departed New Delhi, India and arrived
Abuja, Nigeria, after a 4-day official visit to the country.
While in the country, Buhari joined other African leaders at the India-Africa
Forum Summit, met with Nigerians living in India and also had discussions
with Indian businessmen.
The president’s official jet however made a technical stop-over at the
Khartoum International Airport, Sudan, before proceeding to Abuja.
It will be recalled that the president departed Abuja on Tuesday, October 27,
for New Dehli, India, on a 4-day official visit.

The federal government has filed charges against former minister of Niger delta affairs, Godsday Peter Orubebe, over alleged false declaration of asset and acceptance of about #70million bribe. Gay marriage signed into law in Ireland

Same-sex was signed into law in Ireland, five months after a historic referendum saw the traditionally catholic nation became the world's first country to vote for gay unions.

"The presidential commission today signed the 'marriage bill 2015' into law," the president's office said in a statement, paving the way for the first weddings within a month.

Ireland voted 62.1 percent in favour of allowing marriage between two people "without distinction as to their sex" in may, the first time anywhere the gay marriage has been legalised in a referendum. The first ceremonies should be possible by mid- November, according to justice minister Frances Fitzgerald.
Senator Katherine Zappone, who had long campaigned for her Canadian marriage to her wife to be recognised in ireland called it "a difiing  moment" "it is a deeply emotional moment for those of us who have campaigned for so long" Zappone said in a statement.

Rihanna to star in sci-fi movie valerian and the city of a thousand planets

Rihanna is to take a starring role in a science fiction film by the visionary French director Luck Besson in her first Significant move into Hollywood.
The singer, who has sold 41million albums worldwide, follows actors such as Scarlett Johansson, milla jovovich and Zoe saldana in working with Besson.
The 27-year-old will have a big role in the upcoming film "Valerian and the city of a thousand planets", joining a cast that includes Clive Owen and the model turned actor cara delevinge.
Besson the director of fifth element known for his action movies, tweeted his excitement on Wednesday night that Rihanna would be taking on her first major screen role in his film.
The film, by Bresson's own admission is a risky venture. It will be an adaptation of the French comic Valerian and laureline, with a budget of $180m, which he described earlier this year as " Mr and Mrs smith in space". Besson told San Diego comic-con he had thrown his original script for the movie in the bin and re written it with only five parts for humans. Filming on the project is due to begin in France in January 2016.

26 million Bank customer across the country will tomorrow 31st of October 2015 have their accounts closed due to their failure of not getting a Bank verification Number(BVN). The central bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said no extension would be granted after the deadline expires and customers who still haven't registered will have no access to their money or any transaction in their account.

Lamar Odom is making some impressive improvement this week after almost dying from a drug overdose at a Nevada brothel in mid October.
The former NBA star is "walking with help now" according to a report in US weekly. He has been moved out of the intensive care unit. "He is doing very well and continues to be a fighter. He hasn't given up once, and this will really help in in the future" said a friend.
However the former LA Lakers star is far from out of the woods yet, he is still in 'definite' need of a new kidney and remains on dialysis after suffering organ failure over the weekend.
According to the sources, doctors at the cedar- Sinai medical center are also still "trying to get his kidneys to function on their own".

China ends its one child policy, now allows two children

China has ended its one-child policy and will allow all couples to have two children. Since 1979, Chinese couples have only been allowed to have one child, due to a government effort to control the population growth rate. It is estimated that the policy, which penalized couples who violated it with fees, forced abortions and infanticide, has prevented roughly 400 million birthday. The one- child policy was imposed by Deng Xiaoping, the Chinese leader in late 1979.

40 years old British actor and Tommy Hilfiger model Sam sarpong has died after apparently committing suicide.
The TV presenter, who co-hosted MTV's Yo momma show alongside Wilmer valderrama and who also played the husband of Nigerian actress omoni oboli in the movie 'anchor baby' jumped to his death from a bridge in Pasadena, Los Angeles. Pasadena police say he jumped from the Colorado street bridge following seven hours of attempts to talk him down.
