The Emir of Borgu, Niger State, Alhaji Haliru Dantoro Kitoro III, has reportedly
passed on in a German hospital where he had gone for treatment of an
undisclosed illness.
Emir Kitoro is said to be one of the most influential monarchs in Niger State
whose views were highly regarded while he reigned.
