Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is the new ooni of ife
The osun state government has announced the name of the new Ooni of ife. The new man to sit on the throne is prince Adeyeye enitan ogunwusi of the Giesi ruling house and a holder of higher national diploma in accountancy from the polytechnic Ibadan. Prince Adeyeye is 40 years old. He is to become the 51st ooni of ife.
Prince Adeyeye is presently an employer of about 300 indigenous youth at the inagbe cocowood factory- essential homes furniture brand, a first to its kind in Nigeria using 100% indegenous raw materials for production. Prince Adeyeye is an astute entrepreneur who is driven by turning ' impossible to possibilities'. This is evident in his savvy business ideas and distinctive youthful revolutions in ili- ife. He was an entrepreneur right from college. He is also loved and highly respected by the people of ile-ife.
The announcement of a new traditional ruler for the ancient town came 89days after the death of oba okunade sijuwade at a London clinic.
Oba sijuwade passed on after a brief illness on July 28, although ile-ife chiefs only confirmed his death on August 10.
