Lamar Odom leaves icu and is now walking with help and talking more

Lamar Odom is making some impressive improvement this week after almost dying from a drug overdose at a Nevada brothel in mid October.
The former NBA star is "walking with help now" according to a report in US weekly. He has been moved out of the intensive care unit. "He is doing very well and continues to be a fighter. He hasn't given up once, and this will really help in in the future" said a friend.
However the former LA Lakers star is far from out of the woods yet, he is still in 'definite' need of a new kidney and remains on dialysis after suffering organ failure over the weekend.
According to the sources, doctors at the cedar- Sinai medical center are also still "trying to get his kidneys to function on their own".
