New Ooni of ile ife Adeyeye enitan ogunwusi has on October 28 arrived the ancient town for the first time since he was pronounce by the osun state government.
On his arrival with armed security staff, the Ooni stopped at the ife toll gate to appreciate the chiefs led by the lowa of ife.
The streets were full with the huge crowd with school children, market women, motorcycle riders and other residents of the town. The ooni-elect took time to admit cheers from waiting mob by raising his right hand several times to greet his supporters. Ogunwusi went to the home of the obalufe to pay respect before proceeding to his compound of the Giesi ruling house where he is to be installed as sooko. Photos of his arrival after the cut
