Kim Kardashian West reveals she may undergo a hysterectomy after the birth of her son

Kim Kardashian has opened up about her anxieties leading up to her
second baby's delivery on her website. Among her worries is the
reoccurrence of her pregnancy condition called placenta accreta, which
she had when she was pregnant with North West. Kim expressed her worry
about having to undergo hysterectomy if the same situation happens again
when she gives birth to her son in December.
Kim recalled the struggles and pain she went through from having placenta
accreta during her first pregnancy on her website and app .

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star who will be due in one month time expressed her fears of having to experience that pain all over again. Kim confessed her worry of having to relive the "most painful experience" of her life with her second baby's delivery.
"With the issues I had last time, my risk of having preclampsia and
placenta acreeta (sic) are increased and there's not a whole lot I can do
to prevent it, so my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery," she
wrote.

The 35-year-old revealed that she "may need a hysterectomy" if her
condition after delivery is "severe enough." However, she said that her
doctor, Dr. Paul Crane, has so far assured her that there is no need for
the operation.

However, beyond all her anxieties about her second pregnancy Kim is
keeping up a positive outlook. Although she admitted that there are days
when she gets so scared, her doctor has always been there to talk to her
and calm her nerves. Kim also wrote a few words of advice to women who
share her condition.
"My advice to anyone going through this or anything difficult during
pregnancy is that all you can do is be hopeful, get the best information
out there and just be prepared. The more information you have, the better
you know how to handle it!"
